Sitting Owl

The big, applied glass eyes of this 4 x 1 1/2" sitting owl are looking straight ahead.  He has applied feather "horns," wings, and feet, and his beautifully embossed features are realistically painted.  A fine example in excellent condition, German, Ca. 1880-1917, $1650.
