After becoming an antiques dealer in 1977, my pursuit of holiday items was only casual. I became very actively involved in restoring and selling antique light fixtures, as well as dealing in 18th and 19th Century ceramics. Then I purchased a feather tree and began learning about the world of antique ornaments for the Christmas tree. My interest quickly expanded from there into all holiday items, particularly the early pieces made for the American market. There is much enthusiasm among the many collectors and dealers, and I am always excited to meet others who share this passion.
I sell at antique shows throughout the year and especially enjoy every aspect of the antique Christmas collectors’ annual convention (See Golden Glow of Christmas Past in Links).
